Junior Cert Projects - UPDATES & DEADLINES

Thursday 22nd Oct


The deadline for your PREP sheet was Monday 19th Oct. Disappointingly, only three people had all of their work complete.

During the midterm break everyone will have to finish off their PREP sheet & get a lot of work done to their FINAL piece - the deadline for the final piece is Thursday 12th of Nov. ( I cant give any more extensions on this I am afraid).  This project is 75% of your overall junior cert art exam and needs to be taken seriously.




What I will be looking for after midterm break from everyone:
1) The prep sheets are finished
2) Final pieces




Progress/ Project updates for each student on their Junior Cert Art project/Exam:

• Orla - Absent Mon 19th & Wed 21st Oct - The two classes before this came to class with no folder/work....The last thing I had recorded was that the text needs to be finished & typed up, and only 4 out of 9 pics were done.
• Cian - Work was to be done for today (thurs 22nd Oct) but came to class with nothing new done - Need to finish off backgounds & type up & print out the text.
• Rachel - All work complete well done
• Sian - Absent Mon 19th & wed 21st - last thing we mentioned was that she had 7 pieces left to do
• Marian - need to focus on the meaning of the theme & writing
• Dylan - Very little finished - all drawn out but not complete, needs to finish all off & complete backgrouds as well as the text
• Victoria - all work done & handed up,  well done
• Jamie - Lee - absent on Thurs 22nd Oct but all work done, well done
• Chantelle - all work complete, well done
• Adam - very far behind, only 4 out of 9 drawn out but not finished, text not done yet either
• Kristan - came to class the past 3 times with no work, very far behind, nothing done (journal signed)
• Hannah - all work done, well done
• Shane - all done, well done (mentioned need to add paint to some of them)
• Rachel C - nearly done, 2 more to do, writing is done, needs to add more experimentation, too much pencil & colour
• Charlene - nearly finished - a lot of work to be tidied up
• Bethany - re-do the text & 2 more to do
• Sidel - very far behind no work to class on Monday has 5 out of 9 left to do
• Matthew - very far behind, little to no work done, coming to class with no art pad/work

Everyone needs to finish off those bits & pieces mentioned above to be able to show me all complete on Monday 9th Nov, AS WELL as half of the final piece complete.
