TOYOTA ART COMPETITION:

Tues 6th Feb.

Back in 2004 we had a dream to create a contest that would unite the imaginations of children across the world. We wanted bright young minds to develop a keen interest in cars and electrify us with their creations. All we ask them is one thing: imagine what their dream car would be…

To enter, students can use any materials on A3 or A4 paper and send it in to: Dream Car Art Contest, Toyota Ireland, Killeen Road, Dublin 12. All drawings need to be hand-made and digital artwork isn't accepted. The deadline for entries is the 24th February 2017.

This contest is open to all students aged 15 and under. Their dream car can be anything and everything - their imagination is the only limit.

The lucky prize-winners will win great prizes and will be entered into the World Contest. If their artwork makes the final, they could win a trip to Japan with their parents and the opportunity to participate in the award ceremony in August 2017.

Who can participate?

The contest is open to children up to 15 years old. Toyota Ireland organises the Irish contest and accepts entries from the Republic of Ireland.
What artwork and material do I need?

Take an A3 size paper (A4 size is OK too) and use any medium you like – pencils, crayons, paint – to create your dream car. Don’t forget a background, so we can imagine what it would look like in its environment. And remember: only hand-made drawings are acceptable, so don’t use a computer to do it.

When do I need to create my entry by?

The closing date for entries is February 24, 2017.

What can I win?

First, you’ll be entered into our Irish competition with a cool prize awarded for the three best drawings selected by our jury in each age category: under 8, 8-11 and 12-15 year-olds. The lucky prize winners will receive their prize and certificate and secondly, the 9 winners will be entered into the worldwide art contest. If your artwork makes the final, you could win a trip to Japan with your parents and the opportunity to participate in the award ceremony in August 2017.
