MOCK ART EXAMS - Important Reminders - L.cert & J.cert

 

Junior Cert Art Mock Exams:

The still life & portrait drawing exams will take place in R. 2 on Wed 24th of Feb.  starting with the STILL LIFE drawing exam  which is one hour .... after this you will do the PORTRAIT DRAWING EXAM which is 1hour & 30mins long....
The two models on the day are two second year students Caoimhe Hamrogue & Aoife Corbett





TIME:

• 9.15 - 10.15 is the STILL LIFE DRAWING EXAM
• 10.15 - 12.15 is the PORTAIT DRAWING EXAM

ROOM:

Everyone to be at Room 2 on time - DO NOT ARRIVE IN AT 9.15, be there at 9.00 to get your seat area set up.




SUPPLIES:

A sheet of A2 drawing paper will be supplied to each student but you must all bring your own drawing pencils & equipment to the exam.  DO NOT FORGET your chosen object from the list of objects on the exam paper I have you.




For the mock exams I will be marking the following project work:

• Prep sheet.
• Final piece
• Artist
• 3D prep.
• 3D final

(artwork not handed up on time will result in marks being docked)

LEAVING CERT. MOCK ART EXAMS:

 

 

 

 

DATES & TIMES:

 

• Craft exam - (I will give you back your research sheet at start) - I must sign any other sheets of card/paper you want to use... Make sure to bring all your art materials/equipment & be on time!!! Time: 9.30 - 3.45 (arrive to art room at 9.15 to set up table area) This exam takes place in the art room.
• Art History Exam:  9.45 - 12.15 (check room timetabled for this exam)
• Still life exam: Thurs 3rd of March lunch break, the last three classes (class before lunch you will get time to get a quick lunch break) Will be in the art room - 2 1/2 hour exam
