Just a quick reminder of homework & details on your new project :
As discussed in class..................
You choose ONE of the following themes:
1) The Weather
2) Dreams
3) Animals
Do a brainstorm for ALL THREE themes (for Wed. )- then choose one that you would like to do for your project. Research this theme carefully, whether it is animals, dreams or the weather, so you will need to get pictures/photos relating to your chosen theme ie: if you choose the theme animals then you need pictures of different types of animals maybe wildlife animals, pets, farm animals, sea animals/creatures etc............ choose something that you are interested in & will enjoy doing your PREP. sheet on.
On a prep. sheet you will need 8-9 different drawings, paintings, collages etc...a mixtures of different things.
For Wed: I need everyone to have chosen one of these themes & to have brainstorms done for each one and to bring into class several pictures to start drawing from.
If you can start some drawings for it in the meantime that would be great too!
ALSO, everyone needs the following for art class: - Try your best to get all of these for next week:
- A2 size sketchpad (available in easons Sligo, & a novel idea in ballyshannan, and all other art shops)
- Drawing pencils - 2b, 4b, 6b (available in simpsons shop in bundoran, and also supervalue)
- Clear plastic folder for art pad - Available in the novel idea bally Shannon & any other art and craft shops.
- A set of colouring pencils - try get one with a good range of different colours.
Here are some examples of PREP. SHEETS:(remember these projects have different themes from yours!)
Any questions pop into me in the art room at any stage before Wed.
