Leaving Cert Group: Sketching from Primary sources
This primary source drawing challenge will encourage you to work form primary source objects, and develop your drawing and observation skills through a wide variety of media which is a
vital element that is required for the new LC art course.
We will start this on Tuesday 10th Sept.
Please see below the dates in which you need to bring in the items for class.
Pencil - Something Transparent (Tuesday 10th Sept) - finish for homework
Pen - Something Mechanical (Wed 11th Sept ) you should get finished in double
Colour Pencil - Something Organic (Monday 16th Sept) - finish for homework
White colouring pencil on black card - Something that is one colour (Tues 17th Sept)
Paint - Something you can eat (Wed 18th Sept)
Watercolours - Something furry/fluffy (Monday 23rd Sept)
Oil pastels - Something Red (Tues 24th Sept)
Chalk pastels - Something from the garden (Wed 25th Sept)
All eight exercises above should be in your A3 art sketchbook NOT on loose sheets of paper and I would also like you to take a photo of each one and attach it to the sketchbook beside where your finished artwork of it is.
