As I mentioned in Monday's class, we are starting a new project. This new project is all about experimenting and being creative with other material's, like you did with the fantastic cardboard drawing's before Midterm break. For the Junior Cert. art project, which you will be doing next year, the examiner's like to see experimentation, that you are trying new techniques, being creative & inventive with your work.
Project: Using one of the themes listed below, design, create and make TWO pieces of artwork on A4 paper (each) using newspaper, black ink/paint & black pen. Add details with black pens. Both finished pieces which are on separate sheets of A4 paper must be stuck onto black card when finished.
THEMES: (Choose 1 to base both of your TWO pieces on art on)
1) Sea Life
2) Autumn
3) Christmas
REMINDER: Please take your book-craft prep, final piece & your cardboard art piece from before midterm with you. I mentioned this to you in class on Monday to bring in your folder to carry the work home. You will get your grade too.
